In 2017, Michael Peterson, CEO, acquired Synerzine (formerly known as Pyrazine Specialties and CTC Organics), merging the two companies into one. He is committed to building upon the company’s rich history of expertise in aroma raw ingredients including Pyrazines, Thiazoles and more. CEO, Michael Peterson has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, primarily in the direct marketing and fulfillment industries. Utilizing his broad knowledge of digital communications and fulfillment technologies, he is focused on updating Synerzine’s internal systems related to inventory control, as well as external communications. This includes updates to the web and on-line presence, as well as implementing more effective, data driven communications. The introduction of new, updated systems, will allow the team of professionals at Synerzine to respond more rapidly to customer needs, and also be able to process and ship orders more efficiently. By focusing on the improvement of internal systems, the company will be better positioned to grow in a controlled and systematic manner.
President, Judy Pruss has over 40 years of experience in building successful businesses, including Flavors and Fragrances. She has a stellar track record in strategic planning, international business, product development and is focused on customer insight and user experience to create innovative products and services that provide unique solutions to a broad range of customers. Prior to joining Synerzine, Judy was a Global Director at Sigma-Aldrich where she demonstrated her passion as an entrepreneur. She led the Flavors and Fragrances business from a startup to a world class business and created Strategic Service Solutions aimed at enabling safety, compliance, education and support services. Throughout her career, Judy has held leadership roles of increasing responsibilities in Quality Control, Technical and Customer Service, Product Development, Sales and Supply Chain Management, Strategic Marketing, and Global Corporate Strategy and Development.
Vice President, Dinh Phan has over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, and brings an intimate knowledge of pharmaceutical APIs, sugar purification, beverage formulation, bio-diesel, and the flavor and fragrance industries to his role. In addition to working for Cabot, BASF and Sigma-Aldrich, Dinh served in the United States Army as a Chemical Weapons Specialist. Within these roles, Dinh gained a wealth of experience in R&D, chemical engineering, large scale cGMP production, and novel molecule creation, as well as purchasing, sales, marketing, and business development. At Synerzine, Dinh plans to combine these skills with his passions to develop new, world-class products and deliver performance that makes a difference for our customers.
